What's in Peru?

By Website Introductions at 05/02/08 14:04

machu picchu What's in Peru?
Peru is South America's archaeological capital. That I don't think anyone would detest. Show them the Machu Picchu and you already have a sure winner.

But it doesn't stop at great ruins. Peru's natural wonders are already enough to make anyone awed. This is includes the Peruvian Amazon. Go there and discover the still-undiscovered in the depths of the jungle.

Wouldn't it be great, though, if all these trips would be done responsibly. Yes, it can be done--with Mayuc Travels.

When we talk about ecotourism, we do not talk only of environment preservation. It also involves the preservation of the cultural integrity of the indigenous groups living in the ecotour's destination.

Here in Peru, there are at least 2 indigenous tribes that are protected. These are the Matses and Mayorunas, both of which reside in the Peruvian Amazon.
