In theory, a free market is an excellent way to spur the growth of involved markets. In practice, however, is it still the same?This is the issue debated on the controversial US-Peru Trade Deal. According to the Deal, goods will flow freely from either market towards the other. This would've been good if both nations have the same level of economic capability, but with the huge disparity between the States' and Peru's economy, one could only wonder if this would not be harmful to the Peruvian market. A free flowing market, after all, promotes more competition to the Peruvian entrepreneurs who are not yet ready face the American giants.
