Name of your website?

Volunteering in Huaraz-Peru

Your name?

luis delgado

Your Location (city, etc)

Huaraz Ancash Peru

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Teach-Huaraz- Peru is a small voluntary organization, who’s main goal is to enrich the lives of the Peruvian people, together with those who want to help make a difference and really give something to this fascinating country. If you have a burning desire to see some of South America, work with Peru's future and have an experience that you will never forget, then a placement with Teach-Huaraz-Peru may be just for you.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

There are many people wanting to support and share their times with nonfortunated and poor people in undevolped countries like Peru.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

www.teachperu.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Huaraz is an attractive and meaningful term with more than one thounsand years of history.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Firstly because we at teach-huaraz-peru offer opportunities to foreign people to find nice time but useful and helpful at the same time. Also because we think to volunteer or to get different experiences you don't have to pay a lot.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To make possible people's wish meeting different cultures.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

When less volunteers come, we cannot support almost with anything to community centers in Huaraz.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I don't know, I mean I don't think it would be possible, but if it happened, the organization would have more opportunities to reach more people.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, we got 5 years of experience.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Getting volunteers with psychological problems; or drug consuming vlunteers.

What has been your biggest challenge?

to organize accomodation and positions for 10 volunteers at the same time.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

using testimonials.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

these days not many users know that we have another website.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

0ne year. ( Before it was named: teachperu)We want to continue as long as posible.

Replace this with a question of your own

How many volunteers are really comfortable to what we promise and really provide?

What is your website address?
