It's time to go back to nature and appreciate and preserve its beauty. Here in Peru, there are a lot of opportunities for eco travelers because of its biological diversity. For instance, you can see 20 of the 67 known species of small cetaceans can be found in the Peruvian Sea--but that is only part of Peru's marine domain of 863 thousand square kilometers. That's just the seas, folks. Wait 'til we talk about Chile's land treasures. Link: Peru Nature Biodiversity Birdwatching and Eco-Tourism Travel Guide and Maps

Interestingly, some people have noticed that there are no books about Retirement in Peru, when, in fact, there are books about Panama, Honduras, Ecuador, etc. Why is this so? Do you think is it just merely because Chile is not as appealing as a retirement nation, or is it more because of political reasons? Share your thoughts here.[404 Check: was link to http:/ / www. expatforum. com/ expats/ general -expat -discussions/ 1324 -why -there -no -books -retirement -peru. html, anchor: Link: Why Are There No Books On Retirement In Peru?]

We have all heard of these lost Incan cities in Latin America and we all thought that what great adventure going to these sites may be, just to know that it will be another car trip.Rekindle that adventurous spirit and go back to these lost cities--but not via car this time. Go there using horses, mules, or even go by foot--just like how the Incans did. Considered as one of the world's greatest man-made structures, the Machu Picchu is well known for its grandeur and beauty.Though not as popular, the Incas' Choquequirao is as mysterious as the Macchu Pichu--probably even more since there is no road access whatsoever to this ancient settlement, making it more difficult to reach.
