Do you ever wonder where some of the Dole organic bananas you eat are from? I dunno the others but some (if not most) definitely come from over 1600 small-scale farmers in Peru.
The dry climate in Northern Peru makes it a perfect area for growing organic bananas, while the government has a good irrigation system set up in the region.
