us state department Am I Free
This is the official website of the Department of State of the United States.

One important thing to look out for when we visit a foreign land is that nation's policies on religious freedom. "Does this country allow the practice of one's own religion or does it impose a national religion policy?" "Will I be able to practice my spiritual beliefs here or will it be suppressed?"

I know you ask this. That's why I present to you the US State Department's assessment of the freedom of religion in Peru so you can think about it.
