A couple of expats in Peru make a living by teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) to children. In a globalizing world, knowing how to speak fluently in English is a must if one wishes to be competitive.
The pay, generally speaking, is handsome as ESL teachers are still quite in demand, but before you barge into Peru and teach ESL, it would be best to learn from those expats and find out exactly the lives of an ESL teacher in Peru.
