Peru undoubtedly have so much history and diverse culture to offer in the world. Their festivals as well are so unique it makes people write something about it.
In Chivay, Peru, there is this festival called the Woman's Festival. The festival lasts for striaght seven days or one week where everyone, including boys are required to wear a women dress.
According to a blog post at (Paused in Peru), this festival was to remember a love story between a Spanish Officer who fell in love with an Incan Princess who is not allowed to come near her. So he dresses up his men and went to a royal ball where they had their way with women.
